Lost my sissy bar pad and back plate

Went out today to throw my backpack on the sissy bar and noticed there was no longer a pad or back plate. Just my luck. Went and traced the route the woman and I took Wednesday night but of course no luck. Anyone know where I can get a replacement that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg? 275 from bdmperformance is a little rediculous I think.

I put 2 aluminum split ring lock collars which I polished on each pad and plate and installed them just under the pad and plate on my 18 inch sissy bar legs. I have 2 pads and plates on my bike and have never had a problem. Knock on wood. You can get any size ring you want from McMaster Carr out of chicago. You have to really look for them to see them. Check out my Avitar. Good Luck!!!

It did happen to me also but I was lucky enough to find it on the road side... double sided tape between the back plate & the sissy bar and blue loctite on the screws and no problem since :2thumbs:

I will have to look for it but I have a plate that has a little chrome peeling . You can either rechrome or go with it. You can have it pm your a dress if you want it. Then all you will need is the pad.

Mine took flight on the way home from a bike night last september. What pissed me off about the whole deal is the damn plate chipped the paint on the rear fender in two spots.
