Left last week on the bike to Palm Springs and Primm/Las Vegas and while coming back from Vegas I lost my rear brakes. Was a real pain trying to stop with the front brakes only especially when I would catch a yellow light. But I made it back to Palm Springs and my brothers house and checked my brakes out. Had some leakage on the rear caliper but think it was from the transmission overflow. So went to check the brake pedal and at first didn't notice anything unusual till I looked under neath the master-cyclinder and saw that the plunger was hanging down.
Turns out that my pedal is just plain worn out and the plunger had worn a grove out of its pocket on the pedal. I then came back to San Diego. So pulled it off and we are getting ready to weld it up and cut out a new pocket. Shouldn't have any issues and hopefully get it back on the road for this weekend.
Everyone have a great Memorial weekend
