Got up to 45 and sun here in W PA, pulled bike out and fired her up. No front brake at all. Cable is seems tight, no leaks just no resistance when I pull the handle. What should I look for first?

Pull the caliper off and send the pistons back into the caliper housing pushing the pads in. This may purge the air up the line and you now have a pedal.

My front brake did this when the pads wore out. After replacing the pads and (I hate to say this, but as Sven said) after pushing the pistons back in, they worked great. Didn't need to bleed them. I pushed the pistons back in by hand also. 10 minute job and bought the pads right here on the forum. Check your front brake pads and see if there wore out.

Pea.Yes.

Here's a racing trick:

During the day sometime, zip-tie the brake lever tight enough so that it forces the liquid at the bottom, or displaces the air, the bubbles come up overnight.

:2thumbs: I was told about that years ago by old mechanics who used to take care of my Dad's tractors in the farm.
