So what should I do when the dip stick has gone? How can I confirm my 05 bdm chopper has enough black stuff in it?

Hi All, I contacted bigdog parts king and they advised me that there never was a dipstick for the 05 BDM chopper.

Any ideas?

If you don't use a dipstick then it's is a visual check.probably up to the bottom of the filler neck. It should be in the owners manual.

Yup, it's like 2 +" I just make sure there is oil visible when up right at where the neck turns, any more it expands and blows out.
