Looses Power

Lately my 03 Chopper will loose power when I'm slowing down or starting from a stop. Everything seems fine at cruising speed. A local tech told me to remove the timing cover and ride for a while. The problem has not resurfaced after I removed the cover. Is there known issues with the ignition sensor after it gets hot?

Sounds like your cam sensor may be going bad

I'm fairly sure that I have a intermittent problem with my cam sensor. Does anyone know if this is a common Harley part or is it a Big Dog part ? I also noticed that I have a Thunder Heart Module under the seat. Is this a stock part on an 03 Chopper or did the previous owner already change some electrical circuits?
