You just hit the nail on the head unfortunately for the price of a used big dog it's hard to rationalize building one these days and its kinda sad. There is currently a 2004 Ridgeback on Ebay with 6k miles for buy it now $9k..

Im also starting to see the price of K9 drop to the $12k mark even at the dealers. Sad Days

1+ By the time you add paint and all the parts needed you will be at at least $12k. You can buy them all day on ebay for $9k.... Not worth the time and trouble... IMHO

Why build it up? the parts alone would bring more than the initial price. What does a set of forks and triple trees go for, or those wheels? Looks like a decent investment to me. If I had the money I'd go for it.

I think if you own a 2008 Pit Bull that it's worth it just for the parts alone, I mean shit a rear tire for those damn bikes is nearly $500.00, and with all the other stuff it would definitely be worth having.
