what happened to your tank that its not repairable (efi or carb)
Fuel tanks are extremely rare they are not manufacturing them anymore. Your better off fixing the old one even if it takes time.
Especially being in Spain!

You can repair just about anything, if you try. I don't know how bad yours is, but I've repaired two tanks with this same dent.
I had to cut and weld a piece of metal in the dent, because you can't pull a dent in that curve.
A little fiber glass to seal it.
A little bondo to finish shaping it.
Prime and paint.

Do the NEW tanks for the new bikes not fit our older machines?
They aren't new on the new bikes...old stock that is very scarce..
I think we may see a tank change soon on the new dogs

the problem is that the previous owners of the BD made treatments against rush wrongly made and now you can not do the treatment again, it is so fine that the metal of the tank taht it will create pores so it is best to change it for safety. Any help?

that's available in US as well and its not for the K-9 if its the one I found.
If it were EFI and K-9 I'd probably snatch it up as I want to get an extra tank to modify to make a bigger tank for my K-9 but not wanting to be down while I figure it out.
I've got an email into the salavage yards in the US looking for tanks right now from k-9's -- if they let me know od one that is carb that's no good for me AI will let you know.

It was an 08 Pitbull tank and the problem there is the 08 Pit has a square backbone so you have to modify the tank to fit the k9 backbone. Won't be drag and drop.

Well a plate over where the fuel pump goes and weld in a petcock

You also could just plug the pump cover, leave it in place and weld a bung in for the petcock.

I have done the treatment that you are talking about on a 2008 Mastiff tank. The inside was very bad and I had to remove all the old tank liner. The best is to buy the POR-15 product and use a 1 meter of chain that you put inside the tank. Together with the POR-15 and the chain all the old shit will get loose and then you have to get it out of the tank. After that you just continue the procedure and at the end you put a new tank liner. It will take some time beleive me but it can be fixed. You can also buy a camera with a long neck so you can put it inside the tank and see that you get all the old stuff out.
