Im having trouble find parts. I am in dire need of a starter for my 2000 Husky XT but all the books and websites dont list parts for Big Dogs. Where do you guys find your parts?
my stock starter burned up on me. i wish they had put compression releases on these older bikes. My friend recommended a brand of starter called All Balls but man are they expensive.
now to change the starter. do i need to take the primary cover off? and if i do i might as well change the oil filter since i will have to drain the oil right??? im not very mechanicaly inclined but im not in the position to be able to pay someone labor.
i was reading something that said i would also have to remove the clutch hub...is this all stuff that is easy to do or would i be better off just saving the money for a shop to do it.
