Looking for OEM parts for 03 Chopper

Hi guys, I asked Curtis if he has these so I'd like to give him first shot at my business, but if he doesn't have these - Im looking for some OEM stuff for my 03 Chopper.

I'm going to attach pics of my old chopper I owned back in 2006/2007 - I set this bike up the way I wanted back then. Now that I have another 2003, I want the same parts all over again to put on my new 2003 chopper.

1) looking for a flat gas cap
2) looking for a stock header - Kirker if I remember right?
3) looking for BDM Extended forward control kit.
4) looking for smoked turn signal lenses

Oh wow, that's cool! I'm new here and I don't really know people here yet or who or where to go! I didn't realize BDPK was the go to for this OEM stuff.

Curtis helped me a lot in troubleshooting my chopper in the last few days so I ordered a thunderheart kit and a compression relief kit from him. Since he was so helpful I figured I'd see what he's got on my other needs.

So if he's more service and repair parts but not old OEM parts, then I will contact BDPK! Give me a day or two to see how things pan out.

I think I can help you out here are some pictures, you tell me if you can use what I have. I have 3" extended forward controls that my nephew was going to install on his 03 dog but he never did and sold the bike. The kit includes the plates (chrome) the metal rear hose extension piece, Bolts and the shift rod. I was not able to find the shift rod, But I do have the one on the picture that you may like and I'll throw the in for the same price.

I also have a new gas cap flat, or stock that I ordered for a 2006 mastiff, if it fits your than I have what you need. You can have all of it for $250.00 shipped.

Let me know, I can also try to find the stock shift rod, It's some where in the garage, I just can't move around to good with broken ribs. Wife kicked my ass :lol:. No I slipped and fell on top of the battery charger, didn't hurt the charger at all :lol:

Little Boo, I hate to ask you cause your ribs are hurting but if you can scrounge up that other shift rod you got a deal!!! No offense but I really like the more OEM shift rod look so the other shift rod is huge to me. Let me know and I can pay you asap. I'll definitely take the gas cap too! p.s. - if it get me xtra rep power....lol, a good friend of mine is 1st SGT USAF 27 yrs, and both of my kids are USAF (enlisted and reserve). Myself, they wouldn't take me - legally blind in one eye.

Wanted to update this thread too - Curtis took care of me on all the other stuff I needed, so I am good to go!! I actually ended up ordering more stuff from him - couldn't help myself....lol.

Oil Pressure Gauge for the tappet screen location, compression relief kit, thunderheart kit to replace the EHC, smoked turn signal covers, internal spring kickstand for the rear - I'm pretty stoked and ready to get to work!!

Did I mention I love the forum? Sooo cool to find good people and you guys have been helpful!

Hey Little Boo - could double check to make sure those are 3" extensions too? Its hard to tell from the pics!

Here is a pic of the ones I used to have and they were a perfect stretch out for me. But I cant remember how much they were extended!

Got a hold of BigDogPartsKing. They said they think they have the exact forward control kit I pictured above so that cool. They are going to look and let me know asap.

I'm going to have a workbench full of parts to install soon!!

Thanks Joe, need you address to send you the Cap. I will look for that rod this weekend just o have it incase someone esle is interested. I know they are 3" because that is what the reciept says, beside my dick an't much longer than that :roll: :roll: Anyway I know I have the rod just need to look in the right box.

Yea, I got to thinking and really like the ones I had on my old dog. BDPK said they still have an OEM set just like those in my pic above (milled out hollow), so they are going to get with me on that kit.
