The ehc finally took a crap I have a 04 ridgeback looking to see if anyone has a retro kit, ehc, or work around for the issue

The single connector EHCs, in good condition, are virtually impossible to find.
I think bigdogpartsking has a conversion board available to convert from single to dual.
You could adjust a dual connector harness system to work with your bike and purchase a dual connector EHC or go with an EHC replacement kit.
Of course I recommend the R.I.P. kit but review them all and choose one you feel comfortable with.
