Looking for a strut bag

Did leatherworks swap out the 312 for the 322?
Are you going to use both the strut bag from 5150 as well as the 322 (assuming they swap it for you)?

Well, here's the deal on all of this.
Leatherworks has been good to me.
They offered either a swap out for the bag or a refund , minus my shipping cost of $23 to send it back.
After all this was my fault.
So I swapped it out and the 322L is on the way.
As far as fiftyonefifty5150 goes, ladies and gents I need to say this.
Cool guy to say the least. He is sending me his bdm bag this morning, which looks as new, and didn't want any money from me !
I tried to throw some money his way but he seriously would not take it.!
He told me that he was paying it forward and at BDB, that's what we are about.
Gotta tell you, what a great guy !!
So now it's my turn to pay it forward, have to after this .........

So long story short, I'll have a bdm bag on the right side and a leatherworks bag on the left.

So here again is a HUGE shout out to fiftyonefifty5150.
Tha bdm bag he sent me would not fit my K9.
I'm guessing a different strut design from his 04 choppers to my 09 K9.
So I cut the top mounting tab off the bag, ground and painted and all that jazz and mounted it on my rear swingarm frame where my two 5/16" threads mounts were at.
Made a template.....drilled through the metal plate and wood that backs the bag and bolted the bag on with two 5/16"× 2" bolts which I ran through a couple of my black 13mm sockets.
And here it is.
I'm happy with it.

awg....bought the K9 3 months ago. Came with saddlebags which covered the whole rear so no need for a rear guard.
Going to order a guard from Donna tonight.
It'll work nicely with the bag as well.

Yep..the short lived expensive ones are them.
They'll come in handy on longer trips though.
