looking for a how to on trans????

I have a 07 mastiff and the main shaft bearing broke:bang: so I ordered the parts from baker, and now im readyto put the shit back togather, only problem I see is how do you align your trans? book says I need sum laser thing:loony: is there a different way???thanks matt

Maybe bigdogtech01 (Andrew) will chime in. HE replaced all my bearings and seals Aand have suggestions on how to do it. Just sayin'

well I figured seeing as I didnt move my motor if I left my trans loose and bolted my primary to the motor then my trans then tighten my loose trans bolts it should be straight??? sounds good to me anyway????

Thats exactly what I did when I had my tranny referb. Just made sure that the shims on bottom of tranny was the same when tranny was taken out.
