Thinking about chroming a few pieces on my Mastiff like the struts and some other small stuff. Does any members know of a good chroming shop that has decent prices and good turn around.
Thanks

browns plating since 1968 none better, have their plating done a a few bikes. The plating they did for me in 1979 is still better looking then some friends plating only a few years ago, also did 24 karat on a sportster for me that is still intact and looks like real 24 karat gold. Not like later pieces I had done at another plating buisness in Tennessee that I sent back telling them that their gold didn"t even look like gold but looked fake and they asked to redo it .I let them, it still doesnt look as good.Browns plating looks so good it will bring a tear to you eye when you open the box.Believe me when I tell you it will amaze you!

Chromemasters.... They did my front fender brackets. I think it was around $75.00.....Very happy with the results.

Wayne,

The only place I found within close driving distance from our area was these guys:

Chrome East

They plated the wheels on my VTX, as well as some Goldwing wheels and some exhaust tips. They did a pretty good job and the prices were pretty good too.

I've heard many people recommend Brown's and say they're the best.

I had Brown's do my sissy bar and I have to stay on top of it with wax more than other parts like my primary cover and rocker boxes because it starts getting micro pits in it. They did a decent job but the South Florida salt air is testing it very well. I use Space Coast Plating for my gas caps and as any of you know that have bought them, Space Coast LAYS THE CHROME!!!

Space Coast seems to have a deeper more liquid look to it than Brown's plating does.

I'd say use Space Coast... and they are a very slight bit cheaper than Brown's too.

I used Chrome Masters last winter for my Front + rear fender struts, trees, and other parts. Very pleased with the results and the prices seemed a bit better than Browns
