When i went to stugis in '12, I had a pack with me, including a 1 of 50 made "WW2 Bomber" scheme Indian. Really nice bike. Also a Mastiff, and of a course a couple "rare black Harleys". The sad part (for them) was that at every stop, everyone complimented and took pictures of my bike, and not theirs. Not bragging in the least, but I felt bad for the other guys. They had nice bikes, but they were nothing compared to the K9.

I also had reliability concerns before I bought my K9, but after lots of reading on here, I have decided not to mess with anything electrical on the bike, aside from dielectric grease in the connectors and keeping a tender on a good battery. So, I have decided not to add any neon lights, stereos, fat spark plug wires, cell phone chargers, dual coil setups, aftermarket speedo, HID headlight, etc... Now lots of guys have done all that stuff to their Big Dog with absolutely no problems, but I guess I wasn't willing to risk it, as the EHC is very sensitive to any changes. I also run ethanol-free fuel as much as I can. Again, this is not gospel, just the approach I took to give me peace of mind.

Not a better designed bike on the road and they are a very good riding and handling bike. Sit on one and you will be sold...

I'm not only in Tampa, but I have the diagnosis tools from BDM as well. How about that? Feel free to stop by and check it out if you wish, I'm located in Apollo Beach.
