Look What I Bought!

Well, as some of you know my Ridgeback was for sale. Someone came to look at it and bought it! I did encourage him to join the forum for any info he may need. In the meantime I've been looking at an 06 Pitbull. The owner and myself finally agreed on a price. So I bought it. Needs a good cleaning but everything seems to work OK. Rode it home (1 hour ride) with no issues.

Looks good, most of the bike looks clean except for the engine which is the hardest and most time consuming part so understand why some never touch it.

Good luck with the new ride! I'm not a prosteeet model guy but obviously that is a preference! Enjoy!

I think those are the TP rocker boxes not S&S rocker boxes.

Mostly negative. The geometry/fitment of TP boxes to heads is not so good as In S&S boxes which causes the TP boxes to leak More easily.
But the looks if them is nice.

Yes the TP box's are prone to be trouble. But some out there are running them without issues. I"LL hope for the the best. Engine is spotty, as the rims. The previous owner washed it and I don't think he dried it all the way. There are spots on them. Hope they come off. But all in all I'm happy. The Ridgeback was getting to be to much for me. Didn't feel comfortable going around corners anymore. So, before something happens it was time to go smaller. Thanks for all the thumbs up. Have a great and safe 4th people!

Congrats! Damn that was quick. Sharp looking bike. Can't go wrong with black. I have the same air cleaner. In case you have to get a new filter, here's a pic of the one i have.
