DO NOT COVER IT ON AN OPEN TRAILER.....................PERIOD.

My buddy just sold his 6 X 12 Haulmark enclosed for $1500, deals are out there.

I bought me an enclosed trailer years ago when I owned my H-D, sold the trailer with the bike in late '03. When I ordered my TX Chopper in Feb of '04 I knew I had to get another one. When your spending $30g+ for a bike another $3 - $4g shouldn't bother you, especially when they (trailers) come in handy for other uses besides hauling your bike.

this is what I have now, best of all it'll fit inside a standard 7" garage door (mine are 8ft)

I hauled my bike on my open bike trailer from MN to AZ when I moved in December of '07 - nearly 1/2 of the 1,800 mile trip was through slop/sand/salt. It pained me to drag it through it all that, but I used S100 and very careful use of a pressure washer and all was fine. I wish I had a enclosed trailer, but space was an issue, so I have an Aluma MC10F folding trailer with a Condor wheel chock - a set up made for safely hauling a bike, as long as the weather is nice.
I'd go without a cover or wrapping and just find a self service car wash when you get there. Just my 2 cents.
