glad to hear you are okay. It will get better after my 2 accidents the only thing I wanted was another bike. As a matter of fact they were stitching me up in the hospital after my 1st accident and as soon as my wife walked in I told her I wanted a new bike. Doctor thought I was crazy. As far as insurance goes I had a good insurance company they even covered some of the upgrades I had on the bike hope yours does the same.

Glad you made it through it. Those near death experiences, that happen in a blink of an eye, seem to help us get more focused on the things that really matter in our lifes. Sometimes maybe meant to see that we aren't indestructible or bullet proof. We need to thank God for everyday He gives us, I even need to better at that myself. I do tell my wife I love her everytime I before I go for a ride, even If I have to call her where ever she might be at work or shopping.

Glad to hear you will be ok, hope it's a quick recovery. I'm selling my factory five Cobra if that is the direction you decide to go, need to go back to two wheels even though I had a similar accident years ago, it's just in the blood. I will warn you however, you can just as easily kill yourself in a Cobra, but it's a hell of alot of fun trying.

Update,
After being told by a couple different doctors i had a fracture and a sprain, I went in for surgery on the 6th, come out with pins in both ankles, Doc says I had some violent things happen to my ankles, the right he says should heal up just fine, the left may need to be fused later; we shall see. No weight on the left for 3 months, the right should be ok in 4 weeks or so. Talk about a life changing event. Looking forward to spring 2012 golf season starts again.:2thumbs: I would love to be able to walk the course again.
