LINK-WP&SPEEDOMETER FAILURE

just installed WP in my 07 k9 everything works but the speedo& trip meter.Started looking thru some old threds and saw kind of a pattern, so i was wondering if any of you have had this problem and what did you do to fix it.I have power at both the tach and down at the speed sensor, so i don't have a clue what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you. By the way their is a guy on this site that goes by THE OLDMAN that helped me so much i called him everyday for a week ,what a nice man thank you John.

Wires from the BDM pin # 15, B13 and B32 are the wires that you should have soldered together. These are the are the Speedo, Speed Sensor and Tach ring wires. Pull the Organge / white wire out of Plug # 1 position # 3 of the wire plus module that you already snapped in solder these wires to it then shrink wrap.. For EFI Bikes also include BDM red wires Pin #A19 & A-20.

That is what my instructions read, if you did that it should work.

I have been going over my schematics and i have different color wires for the speed sensor and speedo power . what year & model is your bike and is everything working fine for you, and thanks for your response.My bike is an 07 K-9 with power to the sensor and to the speedometer but it won't work.

I have a 2006 Mastiff. The only difference would be if your bike is an EFI. I could be wrong but I do believe this instructions apply to you Bike too.

Hi Carlos my instructions have the A7speed signal combined withB50 speedometer wires both are green ,i hope i don't have a misprint cause i don't even show a B13. On my schematics it says backbone harness connector pin locations then under that it says all white positions are empty except B38 and B41, B13 is white so i'am really confused is their a way to test this speed sensor? vernon.

Didn't mean to confuse the issue. I did fuck up it B-31 not 13 :bang: any way look at your pm and will go from there.
