Light on the licience plate holder isn't working,,,?

The scooter is back up and running , thankful for that :D,, While it was down I turned the licience plate up and down where it wasn't cracking my shins about once a month. I noticed the wires where it bends and goes up in the grove was wore a little, and it broke into as was trying to drill out the holes. I connected them back together and reassembled it.

I can't not absolutely say it was working before I took it apart,, I hardly ever ride in the dark,,,,but noticed it isn't working for sure now and would like to fix it "Right" / Replace the little bulbs and the wiring. I can live without it but it would probably bother the crap out of me until I at least tryed to really fix right.

My question is this part even available for a 2004,, and what kind of nightmare is it to get those wires through the frame, even if I can get the bulbs, that the wires are connected to,,to replace it?

You all will think this is funny,, my wife does . Since I got it running yesterday afternoon I have gone out it the garage and fired it up probably ten times and just let it run a little. I suppose I really didn't realize how much I missed it after 8 or 9 weeks of waiting. My neighbor jokingly told me as he was walking to the mail box he was fixing to call the law on me for keeping the retirement community at his house awake ( he naps a lot)during the day!

If your wiring in running thru your fram, hook the new wire to the old one and pull it through. If the old wire is broke inside, or there is no wire at all , use a vacuum cleaner to suck a string through, to put the wires.

I appoligize for even asking about this stuff ,, except for where I can get he bulbs part. I actually took a flashlight, cause I thought the wires were in the frame but they are not, just in a small tube kinda under the frame . They were the wires right there by the ground on the frame. Thinks I'll change colors though while I am at it.

Thanks for everyones help on the bulbs. I just rode it and filled it up with gas,,, it is not summer time anymore Dorothy,, I needed more clothes on . a little over 5 miles.

Thanks again ,
