Lifters

I learned (the hard way) that S&S recommends changing the lifters @ 20,000 miles on the S&S 107. At 21,000 miles I had a lifter fail which trashed the camshaft.
When I changed the cam and lifters I used S&S High Performance lifters with HL2T spacers. These prevent the lifters from floating at high rpm and also make the bike easier to start (a good feature for early models like mine without compression releases).
They are available from Wild Steed Worx; https://wildsteedworx.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2102
