A few weeks ago my brother started experiancing numbness on the right side of his face. Went to the er and after a MRI etc, they found a mass on his brain. They didnt know what it was from and had him set to see neurologist and earliest date was January. A week later he couldn't drive because he was dizzy and feeling drunk. Went back to er and after more test found out the mass grew from 3cm to 7 cm. Long story short, on Wednesday after a risky biopsy on his brain stem they found that his mass was late stage 3,early stage 4 Glioblastoma which is uncureable and the most rapid growing brain cancer. My brother is only 2 years older than me at 32. My mom was understandably a wreck. The next day, the " Camp Fire" in Paradise Ca came and wiped out my entire home town and destroyed everything. My sister, grandpa, dad and my moms house..all belongings..vehicles etc were destroyed in the fire. Thankfully they were able to evacuate safely but had zero time to get anything and barely made it out of town. So in a 24 hour period, my mom found out her son has brain cancer, lost her home and everything in it, lost her job ( worked at the hospital and it also burned down). Life can be devastating in the blink of an eye. Cherish times spent with loved ones and try and stay positive because shit happens and never know what can change.
