So...I move to Texas and need to buy bike insurance. I had State Farm in Minnesota and was paying $32 a month for full coverage. The State Farm in Denton quotes me $147 a month for the same coverage!! The agent says Texas is more expensive for motorcycles. I have a clean record (luck). Then, I remember seeing on here that Lena sells insurance now so I called her. $54 a month with towing, not that I'll ever need it. Lol.

Thanks Lena!!

most people down here in texas use Dairyland insurance on bikes.
my agent is in mesquite.
i have an 05 ridgeback, a 2011 heritage and a 01 fat boy all FULL COVERAGE for only 78.27 per month.

Shovelshot - Your the guy working in Irving, you were looking for suggestions on places to live? You chose Denton? Thats a hike for the commute in the morning, how has 35 been treating ya? I love it up there but work keeps me a little closer to the city unfortunatly.

guys name at dairyland is Anthony Kaufman in Mesquite.
my ole lady works for a new agent in mineola at State Farm. they are giving great discounts too. almost as good as dairyland. if you want to call her to get a quote call 903-569-5471 ask for Donna.

p.s. new agents offer better rates.

Ya, that's me Infamous. I didn't choose Denton. The old lady did. She has a horse she keeps in Argyle so she wanted to be close . I am not enjoying my commute at all. The morning is not as bad as 5 pm is. I am only renting for now thank God. If I find a decent way to 377 I'll have it made. My area of Denton is ok but when I went to the other side of 35 it's a whole different story. All good, I still get to ride.

377? You then going to hop on 114?

I've only been in the area for a few years, got the dog in May and didn't get out much only put about 1,300 miles on it. I haven't been out traveling in the western part of the state yet. It takes me about an 45 minutes to just get out of traffic. Looks like you might be better off up there.

Let me know if you want to ride some time!

Lena is great to deal with. Anyone that has done buisness with her on this site knows that. Still remember how she got Raywood fixed up when he broke in the middle of nowhere down in Texas. Cheers to Lena and Strokers Dallas:cheers::2thumbs::cheers:
