Lemon Law? Big dog?

One of my friends has a neighbor that has an 2004 Chopper. I've rode with him several times a while back when the bike was about a year old and he was having some problems! I know he used a lawyer and went after them using the lemon law and eventually the bike was shipped back to the factory and was gone for quite some time. Eventually it came back from the factory and was supposed to be fixed. I know this much, whatever agreement he came to with them he said was confidential as he signed some type of confidentiality agreement. That's all I know, hope it helps!

Email Richard Romero? at BDM to get some help.

Have him get a good dealer in your El Paso TX area for the service and have the new BDM EHC replacement unit installed and get the fuel pump checked out.

How far away is Stroker's Dallas from you?

This stuff ain't magic. Be friendly and you'll get results....Good luck and hang in there.

There are a lot of good dealers and authorized service centers out there, and a few bad ones.

Ask around for the best dealer in your area and take it to them. Bike is under warranty needs to be fixed correctly the first time and quickly

Let us know the outcome.

Who is said friend that calls ppl out, hijacks, and runs to the editors?

What has your dealer done for you up to this point?
Have you contacted the factory and if so, who did you talk to, what was the result, has anything been asked of you in regards to this issue, and what will you do next.

You muist know the bike sat somewhere since 2008? Dry rot should not be an issue with a scoot sitting on a showroom floor. How many miles were on this bike? Is it possible they used this bike as a parts bike and you got some bad parts as a result? What has been your selling dealers response?

Could be this is not a BDM issue, but a dealer issue..

Looking forward to reading your Introduction

When did you start having problems? I saw an earlier post that you replaced the exhaust. Since my K9 is carb'ed and not EFI I can't share any light on how to fix it, however I do know my VRod is injected and if you change anything, exhaust, high flow air filter , etc then it requires a re-tune (map) for the bike. Did you keep the original exhaust? I hope you can get some resolution on the problem, just not a good idea to bash the bike, could just be a pitiful dealer that you are using.

Have you talked to Wichita yet or just the Dealer? If your not getting anywhere with the dealer you should call BDM, it will get you a lot further than bashing Big Dog on an owners forum!

No intro?
