Today my left turn signal was working intermittingly. The right signal works just fine. I have an 05 Chopper. Where do I begin?

BBs got it. Then, check to see is your wires are being rubbed by the tire? Might not be an issue for the newer BDs but the older ones used to always rub.

I would try some arm extension excercises first. This will help you with the full extension you need for a proper left turn signal!

Ha ha, just kiddin GymRat :whoop: , by your forum name I guess you probably do some arm extensions already! :D

You didn't state if it's the front or rear or both. I would start by inspecting the wires under the fender and see if they are worn or grounded. Check where the wires exit the rear fender and where they go around the battery, I'f found mine worn down in these areas and have had to cover with shrink tubing for extra protection.
Let us know what you find.

Hope it is something easy, Mine was the circuit board behind the controls. Then 6 months later the other had to be changed......No good if caught in a rain storm.

There is a How To in waterproofing these here.

never laughed so much in the office....

Give some more detail the problem and I can see what I can do. Is it front/rear or both? Does it blink fast, not at all, too slow, works fine sometimes and other times it doesn't?

Probably end up being what others brought up, if not post some more information.

Night Train, some times it would work (the turn signal on the speedo) and other times it would not. When it did both of the lights were blinking. It seemed to blink at the normal speed. After my last ride it was not working but when I tried it the following day it was.

This morning I tried the lrft turn signal and it didn't work however the right side did. I put on the battery tender and checked it at noon and it worked. This weekend I will start looking for worn wires and water.

If you do not find anything send me a PM and I'll give you my number to call me. If we get it figured out we will post in the public forum so everyone has access to the fix.

I checked all my wires and none were worn or grounding out. So my left front and rear turn signals do not work but the lights are on. My right turn signal works intermittingly. Now my front light is stuck on high beam. Also, the EHC left front and rear lights blink when I hit the left turn signal.

Do you think it is my EHC?

I would PM Night Train. I think the EHC controls the blinking so you may have to get a new one. But NT can tell you for sure.
