Left turn signal flickering?

Hi my BD bros,


My bike is 2003 Mastiff.

Left turn signal is flickering on the front light and sometimes both my turn signals go on for no apparent reason riding down the road? usually starts flickering when i'm stopped with clutch in and front or back brakes on. I repaired the the cable under the back fender was rubbing the cable with some heat shrink, it is good for now. Tried protecting it better with something stronger, but could not fit it into the stud bolt with the hole.

I checked the ground under my center panel between the tanks, seems to be good with dmm. This has been going for the last 6-months, but intermedate when it happens. I will be riding for miles, then often sudden I look down and and my left front turn signal will be flickering or sometimes both will with be on?:bang: wtf!!

Any input I would be grateful or things to look at.

I did search and read problems with other flikering turn signals on this site, but didn' t get a clear root cause from them.

Seems like a few problems are caused by wires getting rubbed through under the tank. I've got a 2008 K9 that had rubbed wiring! Maybe its worth removing the tank for a look at the harness??

When did you last change your plug wires? I had a broken plug wire that caused all ki Ds of stuff similar to what you have discribed.
