I dismantled my bike last night to prep for and paint. I figure it will take me almost 2 weeks to complete my paint (with working fulltime and other responsibilities.) Now I figure is the time to add LED lights while the parts are off. My question is; For those that have already done this, what are the best lights to use and where is the best placements?
thanks

TRUE COLORS COLLISION
i went with boogey lights and i first got the cut and clip strips and mounted them along my frame rails on the ground then i took off the air cleaner and ran them the whole length of the bottom of the air cleaner pointing towards the motor, but inside on the edge,i also put what was left under the battery pointing down to chrome starter then i went and got the circular grenades and mounted 4 of them under my gas tank,1 on the inside of my dual coil bracket and 2 more under my air cleaner,i have seen many bikes done and you can see where the lights are i hate this i just wanted to see light eminate from around the source not directly from, compared to other orange ones i have seen i am happy with my shit......not to mention i have seen this company at all the rallys for many years.......

Thanks for the input bros, it has given me some good ideas. Will figure out how to do the pics when I get done with the paint and get it back together.

Don't mean to be rude but, when I see a bike with lights, I'm wondering where the boom box is and, I'm wondering if the thing jumps up and down like a lowrider at the redlights.

But, that's what makes us all different, I guess.

It's a weird deal actually.

The old school mentality says that lights on bikes are gay to the extreem but, at the same time we all have to admit that buying a bike like we all have is a bit of an attempt to buy some attention....

I'm almost to the point to wanting to sell this money pit anyway.

Honestly, I'll keep this bike though... i DO love it and, I'll keep it proudly in the garage where it won't fall apart that much while I ride my HD. LOL

Also put a slot where you put the quarters in so kids can ride it in front of the grocery stores. :whoop: :whoop:

I use lizards lights mainly because I drive to work at 0430 in the morning and I go through the ghetto. It helps the crack heads see me better and when they see shiny objects they just stop and stare so it keeps them still until i go past them!
