this might be a stupid question.........but.......How to I know if I have the stock ehc or pdm? When I bought my bike the guy told me the ehc had been replaced with the latest and greatest. That was about six months ago and before I found this site.

Look under your seat.
If you see a little fuse panel by the battery that says "PDM" on it then you have the BD PDM system.
Don't see that? Then look down around the sides of the battery. See a little rectangular box with 2 huge connectors on it? Then you have the BD EHC.
Don't see either one of the above? Then you have something other than the BD EHC or PDM.

I can tell you this. The LED light Curtis sells is awesome! My org light was so dim I needed a flashlight to see if it was on. The new LED is blinding and really lights up the road. Money well spent plus it doesn't draw all that power away from your starter when you start the bike. Another plus is Curtis's service is second to none.

So I take it that the Adjure LED unit should fit in my K9 housing but is it just direct plug in or would it also require the interrupt harness like the h4 led bulb since I still have the EHC unit ???

Here is a pic of the PDM

The Adjure is a plug & play. The only issue with the adjure is the high low beam indicator is backwards after the install and I have not figured out a way to fix it yet.

Well, I just installed my LED from WSW today - Couldn't get easier!! Unscrew the rings, pop out old bulb, insert new LED bulb, and reinstall rings!! Its a super bright light!!!

Another A+ from WSW!
