I've been pretty sick the last day & 1/2 so I'm on the net looking at all these LED's. Has anyone tried one of these.

You would do best buying one from Curtis who is a sponsor of this site. He has great service and customer support. I have bought 3 so far for all my bikes and they are great.

Thanks Bill, I agree that Curtis or DOC are the best & safest bet ... I can only afford a bulb right now anyway. I was just looking and trying to learn something from all these LED's offered today. Like why Curtis decided to sell the one he sells and why DOC's decided to sell the one he sells. Hahaha, if my mind goes idle I go into that thousand mile stare and lose hours.

Well, when I had a problem with one of my bikes, Curtis sent me 3 bulbs to try at no cost. I found out it was a short. Later Curtis emailed me about another problem a customer was having and asked me what I thought. you don't get that kind of service much anymore and the LED in my bikes are great. You can buy cheaper ones on Fleabay but will they last? Will the seller take them back if they don't work and what will it cost you?
Go with curtis and feel safe...

I know you have a lot more to worry about than a bulb so read my other post....

I bought mine from Curtis about 3 months ago and the low beam just burned out on it, I emailed Curtis and he said to send it to him and he will send me a new one, like Bill said, you don't get service like that very much anymore! Curtis has taken care of me many, many times and I very rarely go elsewhere!:old2:

Believe me gentlemen, I agree with you ... customer service is the most important part of any business. I haven't bought from WSW, but I know he has great service from the reviews he gets. I feel the same about DOC's ... customer service is also over the top. If Jeff doesn't have what I want then Curtis absolutely get a call. As for the questions about products not offered from DOC's or WSW ... well, I am always looking for something better. And small businesses like the two mentioned above want to offer the best. They don't have the budget & time to test every product out there. They are like the rest of us, they learn from opinions & reviews of products that may be worth comparing to what they now offer. I know that doesn't add to their bottom line today .... but it may double it tomorrow. The view from outter edge of the heard is awesome ... but dangerous. The view from inside the heard never changes ... but it's much safer. Nothing wrong with either choice, as long as you can take the view.
