I give up. The roads in Suffolk are all flat and I'll get a picture tonight if it ain't raining.
I believe ya Paul, all I am saying is if your leaning to the right, the right will wear out first, in America, including Suffolk, we were riding on the left side of the road therefore the left side will wear out first, right? :oldconfused:Knaw what I is say'n bra???? :oldlaugh:
I shoulda had Sue take some pics when we were riding behind ya all, there was a definite lean :yesnod:
Yea, I wish ya did cause when I was behind you on Paul's harley it was really noticable! :yesnod:

Unless you live in Europe, then I guess it would be the right side that wears first, right?
If the road tilts right and you wear right side of tire I would say you are running a circle.
Riders who ride on the left side of the road in Europe tend to die pretty fast. Unless you are in UK, and they are leaving Europe

I'm the original owner of my 08 Mastiff. All my rear tires have always wore out to the left of center. I've always had a slight lean at certain speeds in order to go straight. I've had some mechanics tell me that is common for 300 rear tire bikes, but I was wondering how many of you have the same issue??

I've got about 70k miles on my bike now, so it obviously has never prevented me riding. But if it's correctable, that would be great. Ideas?

Thanks!
You state that you have to lean to go straight. This not not normal. I agree with DeePSea - have your alighnment checked. Talk to Curtis about his corner loading alignment technique.

In reality your not "Leaning the bike" to go strait, what we are saying is the road has slope on it so when your riding the tire is only touching on the opposite side of the tire, therefore causing more wear on the side it is riding on, so because of that when you are behind someone on a road like that, it "looks" like the bike is leaning just to go strait, hope that helps explain it better.
