Leaking oil from starter

Well i noticed i had oil under the bike for a couple of weeks now i thought it was comeing from my drain plug. had it on the lift and it was actually comeing from my starter I have 2 months left on my warrenty so set appointment to go drop it off tomorrow. We never had a big dog service center here for awhile good thing i called big dog and they told me one just started in Des Moines Radical cycles or i would have been on a longer trip to Wisconsin. For what ive read in here seems this has been a common problem for the Dogs Thanks for everything everyone puts in here.

Very common. Just replaced a o-ring on the starter in Chopper Dave's bike

Like gas said definately very common,my dealer had me in and out in 1 day cause i stopped by,he seen the issue,did the paperwork sent in the warranty issue,ordered the starter and when it came called me,we scheduled,dropped off in the mornin ,picked up that nite......kinda funny when being asked by your buds why you are leakin oil under the bike and you gotta tell 'em....'OH THATS JUST MY STARTER"

The only Big Dog dealers in WI are near Green Bay and my dealer, Jamie's Customs in Big Bend just west of Milwaukee. How far are you from Omaha? I hear there's a pretty good Big Dog dealer there, too.

about 4hrs from omaha I have ordered stuff from Jamies for my bike they are good People:2thumbs:
