Just got back from Street Vibrations in Reno Nv. and bike was leaking oil real bad.My question and problem is my buddy and i just went threw the forks and replaced everything that came in the kit.Now my question is at 45 mph &70mph the tire looks like the agiator in a washing machine.I have dyna beads,a new tire, new wheel bearings,I don"t think there is a bushing bolt nut screw that i haven't replaced hell I even bought a new wheel and it still bounces like hell,so is there something in side the forks I could have somebody with some knowledge take a look at.Just about to give up on this ridgeback PleaseHELP !!!!!!!!By the way if you ever go to the street vibrations strongly recomend the Cat House Poker Run put on by the HELLS ANGELS one hell of a lot of fun!

is the bouncing as bad after the new tire/wheel as it was before??? tire not completely seated on wheel, wheel warped, bad bearings. something going on at two distinct speeds seems like it is a physical problem. could just be the weight of the oil, would be a good place to start.

(what brand/model tire did you put on? what is the build date? case could be separating from the carcass.)

good call, Bobby.

Both tires are Avon venoms bought over a year ago .No difference in bouncing with new wheel and tire.Should I try a heavier oil i will try anything, the neck bearings are new also.

I'd go with the 30W my ridge had 10W in it when I bought it and the front end seemed very bouncy, I didn't like it at all. With the 30W the front end seems more stable..
