leadscause flashing

hi I have 2007 bigdog mastiff ,and the spark leads where getting tired so I replaced them with some twisters in 12 half inch performance ,looks great runs great just that the dio blinkers now flash faintly like the ignition spark can any one help as theres not many big dogs in oz
