Here is the deal, i'm riding in this morning down the 91 frwy... traffic comes to a stop ... so i'm all over my mirrors making sure everybody sees me... when i see what appears to be a bird coming behind me... as it passes overhead i get a glimpse of what appears to be a surveillance drone ... yup camera and everything ... the drone was a flying wing design with the small wings in the front.... I'm pissed WTF ... homeland security yeah right...

I believe the FAA only issued certifications for the agency's that support Homeland Security .... there supposed to be down at the Mexican border.... after the drone passed overhead it banked left north on the 57 frwy transition...

Let's look at it this way.
The gov't just wants to know if their drones can go faster than a BDM.
With what you just rebuilt you may get a call from them on tips for speed.

Yep. I do believe that Big Brother has arrived. The question is what can we do about it? Every day little by little we are losing out privacy and freedom.

That would be a hell of a fun hunt.
Forum drone hunt ! We can get a pot going, then the first one to shoot one down gets the pot. Or the forum bids on the first kill. Winning bidder gets the drone ! :whoop:

The shooter may be able to get away with shooting one down. They can claim they thought it was some alien space craft or something !

But how the hell are we gonna transport it ? lol

Good news, everyone! The Department of Homeland Security, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that it would be kinda cool to have drones flying around to, you know, "protect the homeland." The Robotic Aircraft for Public Safety program will provide "Federal and local officials with state-of-the-art technology" to do all kinds of stuff in domestic airspace right above your head. What kinds of stuff? Sorry, that's all classified, but don't worry, citizens: rest assured that the DHS cares about you and would never do anything that you wouldn't want them to do. Or something.
