Alright now that I have your attention I wanted to thank Curtis (Wild Steed Worx) for his persistence regarding the LED headlight system he's selling. Curtis was so confident in his system that he put one in the mail and sent it to me and just said try it.

(so I did)

1) installation 10 minutes (plug and play)
2) amp draw same as the halogen H-4
3) overheating ? NO ! .... system has a built in fan
4) performance bright white light. side be side comparison
once I turned on the LED I could not see the halogen
beam
5) road markers, reflectors and reflective signs were lit
up 100+ yards away

SO with that said I am co-signing Curtis LED headlight system

"Five Five" :2thumbs:

How much do I owe you Curtis for the LED

Gotta love more light but dang it , I've sent Curtis at least 3 or 4 emails saying send me the led light and still no light . Dang it Curtis send me the fkn light and an invoice gotta have it before bbbbq. Boomer from Iowa had one of these in Sturgis and thats all I could see in my mirror was that bright white light on the group ride. It over powered anything on the road. :2thumbs:

Hey Curtis,

I have the new Wolf headlight on my Mastiff, does that take the same H4 bulb, (haven't had it apart yet) and do you think this would fit in it?:whoop:

Franco, yes

Pknowles, manufacturer is specifies 35000 hours

BWG56, it will definitely fit but the Wolf adjure is such a poor design you will not likely see the same improvement others are seeing with the stock.

Haze324, works with all bikes using an H4 mount but is wired to plug into a female H4 plug.

Curtis....If a person still has a EHC or PDM Kit will they need the Harness Controller also with this LED light?
No Mick, this new light is universal and does not need anything special.
I worked with a manufacturer to increase the wattage just enough to trick the EHC.

This is a completely different light that a manufacturer came to me with in the last few weeks and offered to make adjustments to it to meet our needed requirements.

I wow, I'm glad I checked this thread out. I did not know about this one yet. I'm real curious about this. Thanks Curtis for the info.

Is this LED bulb any brighter than the other version with the resistors?

So great. The LED I bought just 2 months ago is old news. (you know the one I've been telling everyone to buy from you)

Just like the WP kit I bought and then the RIP kit came out and now that's the cats ass.... :bang:

Curtis,

There is no need to change the bucket or lens with this bulb? I have the factory Headwinds bucket and lens. I thought if I went LED that I had to change the bucket and/or lens. Mostly because I thought without the directional or sealed beam lens (or at least the tri bar) the light would spread out too much.

If it is not necessary...I am all about ordering one too!

Calm Down Bill, the light you bought is perfectly fine but as you know, being in the software industry, technology marches on. I spent months trying to find a manufacturer that would work with me and one finally came along so I made the jump and improved slightly on the product that's all. The only real change made was a slight increase in the wattage in order to fool the EHC. The light looks different but it is putting out the same Lumens as the other unit.
