L.A.F. Exhaust

OK lets all make our bikes louder so that they can pass more laws against us
Allot has to do with the bike owner. If you go tearing thru neighborhoods, or businesses not associated with bikes just pissing people off with your loud exhaust, then you are part of the reason as to why people push to get these laws passed.

Around here in St. Louis anyhow, if you are considerate, and responsible with loud exhaust, the cops leave you alone, and most people don't even notice you.

There is more to the issue than simply just having a loud exhaust system, IMHO.

Hello Reaper

Beautiful Bike, is that the stock fender and had it cut or a completely new fender? I own an 04 Ridgeback, doing some work and I want a rear fender looking like that.

Thank you
Lou

Hi Lou,
Thank you, I appreciate it. Yes that was a stock fender that was cut out. I really liked the bat wing design, and was a perfect look to the rest of the bike. Post some pics if you get yours done.

The issue that you are likely to have with the shorter pipes is low end power loss and will probably run a bit for lean as well as foul spark plugs on occasion. In my opinion it is well worth it being I like going fast and I love to make the surrounding cars KNOW I a there.

When you talk about power loss, how much and is it worth it? I got the bdm bagger and it has the v/h pipes on it. I scrape on everything right turn almost. I'm thinking shorty's with a wicked look might cure my ills. Please comment regarding power issues!!! I'm looking into the FSD pipes. Nothing specific as of yet!
Thanks,
Tommy

Tommy,

Make sure you do a search on the forum about your current pipe consideration. Just a thought.
