It seems like the BD Adapters are out and ready for order on their website. # 8882 $29.99

I was thinking about ordering a set but not quite sure what I want to do with my pegs/grips thing. I like the idea of running some different pegs but I'm uncertain if pegs being different from grips will bother me...

But to those of you waiting for this... maybe the time has come...

GS, funny you mention this. I just got an email from them today. I emailed them last night asking about the adapters. Here is what it said.

Sorry man we are waiting our selves. All the design and tooling is done
and they are being made now at the factory we are just waiting for our
first shipment.
Hang in there man!

Looks like they did a nice job on styling them.

They told me early Spring in January 07, they didn't say what year:D
I call every other month and get the same BS story.

Yep, Kury makes some nice stuff, but I think they farm out their fab work to China.

I get the same story as I've been waiting for the Corsair Aircleaner to become available :bang:

I've looked hard at the Swingarm pegs from Kury and the picture looked better than the pegs did up close. I like the ability to replace the rubber. I've got 10, 000 mile son the stock BDM pegs and the rubber is starting to wear.

I've got 3600 miles on my K-9, and my stock pegs look brand new - of course, they've been sitting in my toolbox ever since I swapped them out at 200 miles. :whoop:

The rubber was flapping in the breeze at 3000 on mine and BD did give me new pegs, but I still want the adaptors.

Yeah I'm curious if they give me a new set or not. The dealership said if they don't then maybe they'll throw on a slightly used set for me from somebody else's bike that swapped pegs.... we'll see. But I think I have a more permenant solution in the works.

Hell I don't even think I had 2500 on the first set of stock. I got a set of slightly used ones from one of the members awhile back and they have held up pretty good. NOw at about 12k, those are starting to show some wear and it will not be long before I will need to replace them.

I think allot of it has to do with the type of boots that are worn. I know the first set I wore a old set of harder sole MC boots, my most recent, I tend to to wear softer sole, typicaly my desert boots.
