Know how to open the Speedo....

Out testing some modifications yesterday and the speedo (electrically) dropped out. Troubleshooting pointed me to removing the speedo as the source of the problem (Have power[red] and signal [green] and ground [ black] through the harness into the housing). Pulled the speedo and opened the back plug. Sure as shit the red line is disconnected from the board inside the unit -- vibration must have snapped the solder connection. :down:

Anyone know how to open the unit??? I wanted to check befor I go digging in there....

No problem....you had the right idea though ( a small hammer was involved) :up:

Want to see what others may have done. Good news is it's apart, soldered, and tested. Just waiting to reassemble after some silicone cures overnight.
