There was a post for keys that looked like little knifes. Can anyone help me find it?

I don't know the thread you're talking about bit I did see the knife keys on ebay in the ebay motors in the motorcycle parts and accessories section under big dog.

I bought one. Was sent the wrong blank but was sent another one after I tried to get the key cut. The seller was great. I told him what blank I needed and he sent another one out right away. After having it in the bike there is no way I would ride with it not attached to something. It weighs enough more than the factory key that I'm sure it will fall out and our cause ignition problems

Pretty cool... depending on what happens with the new coil cover/motor mount and key...

I haven't had the bike out yet with it in yet. It's been raining here on and off for three weeks. First time thats happened in the 8 years I've been here.

I would bet it will fall out. It stopped raining today and there is a big ride this
weekend so I will try it out. It's tail heavy for sure

Thanks everyone for the help finding the key site. Just ordered the key yesterday. I won't find out if it falls out until spring.

I spoke to this guy about a month ago about the weight of the key and also invited him to stop in here. Said he would but looks like it didn't happen.

It shouldn't fall out of the newer bikes - turn it on, and then give it a gentle tug. Can you pull it out when it is turned on?

With my 2007 K9, it's impossible to remove the key unless it is in the OFF position.

I'll try it in mine this week and report back

You're right it will not come out. I went on a quick 20 mile ride yesterday after work. I noticed it vibrating some but seemed to work great

Thanks everyone for the info I got my key in the mail. Look good. I'm don't think it will fall out. I'm more concern the knife handle will melt. I won't know until the weather is warm again and the streets are not white with salt.

Yep - no problem on newer bikes - wont fall out. If your worried about it you can use the quick release to keep the ignition key only on it. I also have a mini garage romote on my ring and it's all good.
