I ordered one last Thursday and it was supposed to shipped either Thursday evening or Friday morning.i haven't received shipping notice as of this afternoon?they are supposed to be in Stock

Yes they work with the stock Big Dog hand controls. There is nothing that needs to be changed to use this kit. Just remove your EHC and the harness or harnesses that attach to the EHC. Using the same mounting holes that the EHC used, attach the provided bracket and module. Route the new harness to the existing connectors and click them together with no cutting or splicing.

I know both of them personally and they are stand up guys. You will love the new system, so simple and smaller than my PDM. Putting mine in starting tomorrow.

I just opened the box and ran thru the instructions and all i can say is why didn't they come up with this in the first place.if it's as tuff as it looks it should last a while and is no where as intimadating as the wire plus. I'm truly impressed.Thanks again KMW.

Wow, what a thread. First of all here is for a speedy recovery for ya brother, hope it heals quickly and that you will be back in the saddle shortly. Second, thank you Matt for answering all these questions. Trust me when I tell you there are many readers and the words spread quickly around here as to where one should go for spare parts. Would you please post some close-up in focus pictures of the unit and its connector and the mating connector on the harness.

Just want to be clear and make sure I understand. You're saying that this new EHC replacement unit has been installed and tested on an EFI bike and that the check engine and fuel low LEDs work correctly...meaning they don't glow when they should be OFF or have any weird going on.

What year and model EFI Bigdog bike was it tested on?

Would a wiring diagram be available (pdf) to review before purchase?

Does the headlight highbeam turns on when the low beam dies?
