KMW chopper?

Hey guys i was at Strokers Dallas and saw a few bikes that closely resembled a K9 and looked at the price tag and it said 2010 KMW. Well i ended up talking to Rick Fairless (super cool guy btw) and he said that KMW was the same guys that used to BD. Whats interesting is he also said they plan on bringing back the BD namesake soon. He said it has something to do to with the name being legally available again.

What I'm still confused about is the website reads that they're only shipping to Europe. Well how did a few 2010 models end up in Dallas?

What do you want to know? I have the first one from KMW and having a good time with it. Getting ready to go to Vegas for bike week next weekend. Great bike just like my 05 Chopper.

Didn't know Strokers had any KMW in their shop. Are they brand new bikes? Seems like 2010 isn't an accurate year Big Dog still was technically in business then they came out with a model in 2011 of a k9 250. and like Raywood said he got the first KMW and that was only 2 years ago or so? Maybe those are the k9 250s? Technically really a BigDog

I'll have to stop by for look at some point soon.

Congrats on retirement. I went to their site and sure enough, they have a 2010 KMW custom chopper listed under the used bike sales. Has 464 miles and priced at $19,999.00. They also have a red one with 402 miles for the same price:

Looks cool the 2010 is throwing me for a loop the date doesn't make much sense. I didn't think they were making them in 2010 but wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong!

Yeah the 2010 kinda threw me off as well considering the little I've read about the company. Rick said that the Big Dog name is coming back so i wonder what that means for the KMW brand?

The 2010 is an error. I will inform Matt and he can call Rick and get it straightened out. They should be listed as 2014 models.

They look like nice bikes, can't go wrong buying one its got all Harley, S&S stuff so parts are not an issue.
