Anyone know where I can get the 1 inch longer kickstand for an 06 Mastiff?
Original stand lets the bike lean over way too far.....

Big Dog Parts Kingpin is out of stock :(

Thanks !!!!

Sorry I didn't take a picture of it, maybe @mastiffdave will take a picture of it and post it for you. Just had his 06 Mastiff in my shop and put new shocks on it, and ran into the same problem. I added a piece of aluminum to the bottom of the kickstand.

Thanks Aspen.....I tried an Arlen Ness but when I tried to adjust it any longer than the stock one it kept loosening up and become wobbly. Maybe defective but made me hesitant to use .
I had the Arlen Ness for about a week -- found that the bike sunk into the asphalt too easily since the contact patch with the ground was much smaller -- got rid of it and went to the 1" extended from BDM years ago and have never looked back.

Thanks Mike......can't find the 1" extended anywhere. Ordered one from BDM that has a wider contact area at the end.
Hopefully it will be better ........

I've seen a couple of guys make an aluminum piece the shape of the foot and attach it to the kickstand to get the extra height. -- Check with Mr Wright if you don't have the facilities/skill to do this yourself.

I drilled and tapped the bottom of the kickstand, then bolted the piece to it and shaped it to fit.
The only thing I would probably do different, if it were mine, would be to cut the kickstand and add a piece to make it longer, then have it rechromed.

That's a great idea ....thanks !!

Just an idea (although a nutty one perhaps) - How about moving the kickstand down on the frame a couple of inches? You could use the existing bottom bolt hole for the top bolt hole, and drill and tap a new bottom bolt hole into the frame.

I dislike how much my 2007 Chopper leans on the kickstand and I already have a smaller "platform shoe" extension.
