Thanks...would love to see a picture of it !Sorry I didn't take a picture of it, maybe @mastiffdave will take a picture of it and post it for you. Just had his 06 Mastiff in my shop and put new shocks on it, and ran into the same problem. I added a piece of aluminum to the bottom of the kickstand.
Thanks Aspen.....I tried an Arlen Ness but when I tried to adjust it any longer than the stock one it kept loosening up and become wobbly. Maybe defective but made me hesitant to use .Arlen Ness, I have one one my Bigdog bagger.
I had the Arlen Ness for about a week -- found that the bike sunk into the asphalt too easily since the contact patch with the ground was much smaller -- got rid of it and went to the 1" extended from BDM years ago and have never looked back. Thanks Aspen.....I tried an Arlen Ness but when I tried to adjust it any longer than the stock one it kept loosening up and become wobbly. Thanks Mike......can't find the 1" extended anywhere. Ordered one from BDM that has a wider contact area at the end.I had the Arlen Ness for about a week -- found that the bike sunk into the asphalt too easily since the contact patch with the ground was much smaller -- got rid of it and went to the 1" extended from BDM years ago and have never looked back.
I've seen a couple of guys make an aluminum piece the shape of the foot and attach it to the kickstand to get the extra height. -- Check with Mr Wright if you don't have the facilities/skill to do this yourself. Thanks Mike......can't find the 1" extended anywhere. Hopefully it will be better ........
You da man!I sent him a text, he said he'll get a picture in the morning

Proof of your age -- You gave that bike a PLATFORM shoe!
That's what I told him.Proof of your age -- You gave that bike a PLATFORM shoe!
Thanks !! How is the block attached?
That's a great idea ....thanks !!I drilled and tapped the bottom of the kickstand, then bolted the piece to it and shaped it to fit.
The only thing I would probably do different, if it were mine, would be to cut the kickstand and add a piece to make it longer, then have it rechromed.
Wow. That thing must’ve been about sitting on the primaryJust an idea (although a nutty one perhaps) - How about moving the kickstand down on the frame a couple of inches? You could use the existing bottom bolt hole for the top bolt hole, and drill and tap a new bottom bolt hole into the frame.
I dislike how much my 2007 Chopper leans on the kickstand and I already have a smaller "platform shoe" extension.
