Kickstand Replacement

Has anyone found a kickstand to replace the small rear mounted kickstand? I have a 2004 Big Dog Chopper. Unless the surface is completely level, I am afraid the bike will fall over, especially on a lawn. I saw a Texas Ironhorse chopper the other day where the kickstand was mounted to the forward controls. It looked a lot more stable.

Post up a pic of the bracket you have. What frame do you have? Daytec or Rolling Thunder?

OR possibly trade for one that will put his bike @ the right level. My Chop stands too tall. Need a different bracket. Perhaps his will work for me and mine will work for him?

Could be.
I have the 1" extended on my K-9 and would be happier if it were only 3/4" or even 1/2"
I tried the Ness adjustable but really hated that -- lost surface area and needed to use kickstand plate all the time.

I have a Rolling Thunder frame. Here is a picture of the kickstand. It is real short. I would like to have one that is longer and goes out further.

Here is a picture of an American Ironhorse where the kickstand attaches to the forward controls. That is what I am looking for.

The bike sits fine. The kickstand is just real short and not very stable.

I’ve seen a couple bikes with kickstand mounted by the forward controls. Hope you find a solution. I am thinking that HDM Inc. just previewed some new kickstands also.

I got the 1 inch longer on my K9 and it made a big difference

The only BDM's I 've seen with jicjkstands where the forward contral are were OLD OLD models.
