Pretty obvious you don't get the sarcasm. :spank:
Ease up IronHorse sarcasm is one thing but being a wise ass is another. This thread was started in 08' and here we are in 11'. If it's that bad of a thread then move on.

Create no problems with bullshit little comments like that and there won't be no type of issues here. Think of it as there are a lot of members on here that prefer different/easier ways of doing things.

Base it on a difficulty issue.

You must've had some difficuties with your pony at one time or another. :job::job::job:

Foot...... i never even thought about using my hand for the kickstand on my K-9..... :loony:
but then again that could be from many years on tons of sportbike's and supermoto's (which i still own and ride)

I use both when working on my bike. Depends on what side of the bike I sit my work stool at. What difference does it make any way?!

And you can't honestly tell us that headed down the hiway doing 60 - 70 mph you don't grab the throttle with your left hand because you feel you sock pull some hair off of your left leg and you feel the need to scratch it using your right hand because it's bothering you that much.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Come on, we all do it.:loony: Or is it because we're not riding an Iron Horse?:job::job::job:
LOL spot on!!!

I'm a left foot kinda guy always have been, never use my hand (for side stand that is).

Just to hi-jack the thread for a moment.

How much slop/movement are you supposed to have on a K9 stand, mine seems excessive and the bike leans over a bit too much i recon.

i believe what you have is fairly common. because of the design with the slot in the middle of the arm top, it is spreading the front tab and allowing the bike to lean more. inspect at the base of the slot for stress cracks and if you see one, either front or back, it should be replaced or you might just come back to the skoot and find it laying on the ground. bigdogpartsking usually has them or you can go with the adjustable arlen ness version. :2thumbs:

Jeff,
Check out the thread that a newb started about this subject, I think he welded his fast in the down position:roll: its a good write up, with pics, just don't ax a question about it, he's a little touchy. :willy_nilly:
Or you could call Derek or Donna and get a new one and compare the play that's designed into it in the event you pull out and forget to put it up.
