4th gear will just slid the wheel also. Though it will help you get over a hang over quickly, really gets the blood pumping.

Looking forward to retirement
I just believe if you have compression releases you can kick over a 107! I know there is a huge differance but, I raced motor cross for yrs and at 13 I was kick starting a YZ 250 and at 15 I was also racing a YZ 500. That was a bitch and I only weighed probably 150 pounds. It's all about getting the compression stroke and stomping streight down. But with these big motors, compression releases are a must!

I´ve done it a few times on 5th ... down hill and dropping my weight on the seat at the time of engaging the clutch... it did fire up straight away.

1. Only buy USA made or else:
2. I gotta have that look so put in tiewanted's kicker parts from chunkingonnaupchuck land.
3. I said you are going to ruin this brand new trans. Did he listen to turtle?
4. Kick goes clunk-chunk-king size kicker pawl and brasshit all inside the new trans.
5. Well, that didn't take long. Put a starter motor on it he says.
6. Just touch the starter the evo carb bike lit so fast I called it 'bulletproof.'
7. Takes a man to kick start a bike.
8. Takes anyone to use a cheater valve opener setup, whatever the design.
9. Takes finding the idiosyncrasy of the way the bike wants to start.
10. Takes all but a 1/4 kick you go past compression is part of finding it.

I saw one of those Baker kick starts before and I've thought about it. I think it would be doable as long as you had compression releases.
