Keyed 12v Wire

Looked through manual and could not find nor could I find in search. Figured it was an easy answer for someone on here. Anyone know a 12v keyed wire on a 2006 k9. If so the color and location. Hopefully in seat area or under seat. Looking to add an accessory so wanting to know which wire I could use since a lot of these are low voltage 5v wires. Thanks.

Probably closest in that area would be rear running light (red)

DO NOT tie into your wires! That's a good way to screw up your EHC. What accessory are you adding?

Personally I would only use a separate circuit that is directly attached to a switch then inline fuse or breaker then to the battery. Good luck but In my experience these bikes don’t like led lighting and definitely not alarms . But that’s just my experience yours may be better.

Like Shannon said DO NOT CUT INTO THE HARNESS...if you wanting to add something do directly to the battery and put a fuse into what you are adding
