Key switch help

Working on my buddy's big dog k9
I have the old switch and the new switch
The old switch has two wires and one plug
New switch has four wires and two plugs
What do I do now?
I've replaced headlight turn signals and foot pegs this far. Need to do license plate bracket next but I'm a one thing at a time guy

Using an ohmmeter find the two connections with continuity when you turn the switch on.
If your running EHC or PDM its just a ground signal.
Otherwise its the same procedure just allowing 12 volts through instead of a ground signal

Did that.
Hooked it up all back together. Turn the key to on position hit run then hit start it makes a half revolution horn honks once and flashers come on

i got a new switch also like that - i do not use one of the plugs. i believe thats all they made before bdpm went under. it was for a bulldog. I think its a 2 position switch but just heat shrink it up and don't bother

oem original system 07 big dog k9
the two plug ins beside the battery, when my buddy came to have a look if we push on the one closest to the outside pushing it sideways when I hit run then start it starts if no one pushes on that plug it makes a half revolution honks horn and flashers come on.
