Key switch? EHC?

Went on a 150 mile ride saturday, everything great... Went out this morning turned key and nothing, took seat off and all the lights on EHC were lit up... The only way i can get the lights to go back to normal (green and orange) is unhooking the power and hooking it back up with the key in the on position, as soon as power is cut lights are all back on and have to disconnect and reconnect power with key in on position!!! Any thoughts??? I have updated EHC (gold housing) if helps....

I have a 2004 Mastiff and when the EHC starting giving me fits, I went to Jake and bought the Wire-Plus. NO MORE PROBLEMS for me.:2thumbs:

sounds like a switch to me.

The switch is simple, just disconnect the switch and jumper these two wires. If problem goes away, its the switch. If problem doesn't go away, likely the ehc. But remember alot of times the ehc gets blamed and its something else going to ground or shorted out.
