Thank God for this web site!
I've had my 02 Pitbull for about 6 weeks and I am in love.
We were getting along great and now, she intermittently stalls out while driving. It feels like a run out of gas scenario, but of course it isn't that.
If I let it sit for 10 minutes or so, it starts right up and away I go. Sometimes for another hour, sometimes for 5 minutes and it happens again.
Tank is clean, valve is good and nothing in the carb gives me any indication that the problem is in there.
Anyone experience anything like this?
I saw a thread with similar problem and there was the mention of an EHC.
Enlighten me as to what and where that is?
I HATE NOT BEING ABLE TO RIDE!!!!!!:

Let me ask you this...... are both caps supposed to look the same on the threads? My right cap is an inch longer than the left and much harder to get on and off. Wondering if that is stock or if previous owner threw something else on there.

Same thing happened to me. Its the vent in the right side gas cap! Just remove the guts and the problem is solved.

I have just started have the same problem on my 2002 Pit. Sitting at the light and it just dies. I know it is fuel, and it starts right up. I will check that right cap when I get back from CA. Also, since it was a used bike, I pulled the CARB yesterday and sent it to BOB at xXx carburators in Texas. He is going to give it a look over, do the bore and booster kit, do the air bleed mode, install longer bowl bolts and what ever else he thinks is required. Looking forward to a tweeked carb.
