Kendon Dual Trailer

Does anyone own this trailer (Kendon Dual Bike Trailer)...I bought mine about 1 year ago for my Harley, but I'm not sure if it'll fit my K-9. I called Kendon up, and the guy kept mentioning, "we sell one for customs...," but I don't want to buy another, I want to try and use the one I have now. Does anyone have a Kendon, and if so have you tried to load your custom on it...thanks.

It looks pretty short, compared to your Night Train. You could get a pretty good idea by comparing wheel bases with your K-9. But, I don't have any real experience with it - just my two-bits.

My friend has one of these and it works great for Harleys.

We measured for my K-9 and I put my bike right next to his trailer....no way it would fit without the chopper extension which my friend said is nothing more than a simple "thin" plate that bolts to the trailer....IMHO, there is no way would I put my dog on that.

Hope this helps

Just add an extension for the wheel in the back. You can get wide channel aluminum and bolt that on. Leave the front chock where it is.

OR ... buy a new one.:2thumbs:

I was going to say why don't you leave the trailer at home and ride the bike - but that would be a stupid thing to say

I would not use that trailer but if you do add some on the back make sure that you move your chock foward that will add toung weight. If you do not it will pull like a box kite.

30K trailer deserves an enclosed trailer.

I'm with Knotso, go enclosed man.
Repairing one little stone chip could cost as much as a used enclosed.
And dont even think about goin down the road with a cover on it.
Plus when you compress your forks that front fender may hit the chock tubing.
Good luck:up:

Used an open trailer last summer to run to Austin for the weekend (Trailer In A Bag ... collapses and fits in the back of the truck when you're done towing). Went to a local material shop and got sheepskin with backing on it to cover the bike, then a light canvas over that to keep the rocks off. Wrapped it up tight so that there was no flapping/rubbing. Worked good too ... but took about 30 minutes a shot to set up.:loony:

Bought a dual Classic last September and said the hell with it :2thumbs:

Nice bike man. You can either rig something up yourself, move the wheel chock forward a few inches or trade in your trailer at a trailer shop that carries the Kendon for the chopper model.

Good luck
